The Delhi Metro’s Magenta Line will become the system’s longest corridor at 89 km, stretching from Botanical Garden to Inderlok upon completion of Phase-IV and Phase-V(A).
It will feature 65 stations, including 40 underground ones, and operate as a fully driverless line with 21 interchange stations—17 new ones—making Central Secretariat, Azadpur, New Delhi, and Inderlok key triple interchange hubs.
The project includes engineering highlights: Hauz Khas, the deepest underground station at 29 meters, and Haiderpur Badli Mor, the highest elevated station at 28.36 meters.
The expansion aims to reduce travel time, ease congestion, and improve connectivity across Delhi.
