A 20-year-old man, Abdul Rahman, accused of plotting a terrorist attack on Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, was stabbed to death in Faridabad’s Neemka Jail on February 8, 2026, by another inmate, Arun Choudhary, a Kashmiri youth with multiple serious criminal charges.
Rahman, arrested in March 2025 with two hand grenades and digital evidence of attack plans, was suspected of ties to Pakistan’s ISI and ISKP.
Choudhary, transferred from Kathua prison in October 2024, used a sharp object in the assault.
Authorities are investigating how a weapon was obtained inside the jail and reviewing security protocols.
Rahman’s parents deny the terror allegations.
The incident has prompted a security review and ongoing probe into both the attack and the broader terror network.
