The final two civil lawsuits against Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, stemming from allegations of sexual misconduct during massage appointments while he played for the Houston Texans, have been dismissed, according to court records.
The dismissals come after most of nearly 30 similar lawsuits were resolved, including one settled case confirmed by attorney Tony Buzbee, while the status of the other remains unclear.
Watson, who has denied all allegations, was suspended for 11 games and fined $5 million by the NFL in 2022, though no criminal charges were filed after two Texas grand juries declined to indict him.
The lawsuit against the Texans, which accused the team of enabling misconduct, was also dismissed.
Watson has played only 19 games for Cleveland due to the suspension and injuries, and there are no known pending lawsuits related to the allegations.
