The court affirmed the suspension stemming from her failure to sit in her assigned seat on February 20, 2025, and refusal to comply with the Senate President’s directive.
While confirming the suspension, the court nullified the contempt charge, a ₦5 million fine, and a public apology order, citing procedural flaws in the original proceedings.
The decision, issued in case CA/ABJ/CV/1107/2025, confirms the Senate’s disciplinary power but stresses the need for proper legal process in such matters.
