The incident occurred around 3:20 a.m. on Selborne Drive, where the man exited his residence and allegedly posed an immediate threat, prompting two deputies to fire their weapons.
He died at the scene; no deputies were injured.
The involved officers are on paid administrative leave, and identities of both the deceased and officers remain undisclosed.
