India has created a task force under the Multi-Agency Centre to monitor darknet and cryptocurrency use in drug trafficking, aiming to track networks, share intelligence, and disrupt operations. It works with a central-state Joint Coordination Committee and agencies including the NCB, Navy, and Border Security Force. A new digital system, NIDAAN, centralizes data on arrested drug offenders from prison and NCB records to improve enforcement.
