Eleven indicted in Louisiana drug ring tied to Mexican cartel, with massive drugs and cash seized.
Eleven people have been indicted in a multi-parish drug trafficking case in Central Louisiana, with charges tied to conspiracy to distribute large amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl.
The investigation, led by the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office and involving the FBI, DEA, and other agencies, uncovered 25 pounds of meth, over a kilogram of cocaine, 2,000 fentanyl pills, $125,000 in cash, and gold bars.
Authorities say the drugs came from Mexico and were linked to the Gulf Cartel.
The operation, active from 2024 to 2025, involved a neighborhood gang and one related murder.
All suspects are in custody.
