Crystal Crop Protection has acquired 31.06 acres of land in Jhagadia, Gujarat, from Kurl-On Ltd for a ₹100 crore greenfield project.
The new fully automated plant, set to produce agrochemical formulations and technical products, will have an initial capacity of 50,000 tonnes per year, scalable to 120,000 tonnes.
It will manufacture herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides, including brands like Topper, Tilt, and Missile, for domestic and export markets in Asia and Africa.
The facility, built to Industry 4.0 standards with future expansion to Industry 5.0, aims to boost supply, innovation, and regional economic growth.
