Cambodia’s APSARA National Authority is expanding the Angkor Archaeological Park with new temple circuits and tourism facilities to boost visitor engagement and encourage longer stays.
The initiative, led by the ANA’s tourism development and culture department, includes small and large circuits at multiple temples featuring informational signage, historical context, and recommended visiting times.
These circuits aim to deepen understanding of the site’s cultural significance and diversify offerings for repeat visitors.
The park, spanning 401 square kilometers in Siem Reap province and containing 91 temples built between the 9th and 13th centuries, attracted 955,131 international tourists in 2025, generating $44.7 million in ticket revenue.
New circuits are nearing completion, with only final installations pending before rollout.
