Actress Tamannaah Bhatia joins KSDL as brand ambassador to boost Mysore Sandal Soap’s rebranding and expansion.
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has been named brand ambassador for Karnataka Soaps & Detergents (KSDL) starting February 10, 2026, in a two-year deal to help rebrand and expand the state-owned company’s reach, especially among younger consumers and in North India.
The appointment supports the relaunch of Mysore Sandal Soap with updated packaging and a broader marketing campaign.
KSDL aims to boost its turnover to ₹2,000 crore in 2025–26 and reach ₹5,000 crore by 2030, while doubling exports to ₹50–60 crore.
The company, which produces 57 products including packaged water, is also developing new production units and targeting markets in Europe, West Asia, and among non-resident Kannadigas.
