Marico buys 75% of Vietnam’s Skinetiq for ₹261.6 crore, gaining Murad distribution and Candid brand rights.
Marico, an Indian consumer goods company, has agreed to acquire a 75% stake in Vietnam’s Skinetiq, a digital-first skincare startup, for approximately ₹261.6 crore in a two-tranche deal.
The acquisition, announced on February 9, 2026, includes exclusive rights to distribute the Murad brand in Vietnam and ownership of the Candid skincare brand.
Skinetiq, founded in 2020, reported ₹152 crore in revenue and a mid-twenties EBITDA margin in 2025.
The deal supports Marico’s strategy to expand its premium beauty and direct-to-consumer presence in Southeast Asia, with the transaction expected to close within 90 days pending regulatory approval.
Marico also holds an option to acquire the remaining stake by 2028, contingent on performance milestones.
