Ghana’s Appolonia City completes 25 km of roads and infrastructure in $250M project.
Ghana’s Appolonia City, a 2,325-acre master-planned community in the Greater Accra Region, has completed 25 kilometers of road infrastructure, including asphalt roads, pedestrian walkways, cycling paths, and stormwater drainage, as part of a $250 million investment.
The project, led by Rendeavour and executed by Core Construction Limited, aims to combat unplanned urban sprawl and serve as a model for sustainable, infrastructure-led urban development.
Deputy Minister Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini praised the initiative as a benchmark for private-sector-driven growth, highlighting its role in improving mobility and quality of life.
The development also includes a 75MVA substation and over 50 kilometers of utility networks.
