Banyan Gold reports deep gold extension at Yukon’s Airstrip Deposit, with high-grade intersections to 350 meters.
Banyan Gold Corp. announced on February 8, 2026, that drilling at its AurMac Project in Yukon, Canada, has extended high-grade gold mineralization at the Airstrip Deposit to a depth of approximately 350 meters, marking a significant down-dip expansion.
The deep hole AX-25-817 intersected 1.37 g/t gold over 38.0 meters, including 15.87 g/t over 2.2 meters, with additional high-grade intervals in other holes.
Results indicate the deposit remains open at depth and along strike, with potential connections to the Powerline zone and possible expansion of the conceptual pit.
Mineralization occurs in calc-silicate altered rocks linked to a deep-seated magmatic source, supporting further exploration.
All drilling followed quality-controlled protocols, and assay results were verified by independent labs.
