A transport worker arrested for leaving three disabled men in a running car, leading to their carbon monoxide deaths.
A disability transport worker, Isaiah Pulu, 25, has been arrested and charged with three counts of manslaughter and aggravated abuse of a vulnerable adult after three disabled men—Colton Moser, Mosa’ati Moa, and Tim Jones—died from carbon monoxide poisoning in a running vehicle.
Police say Pulu left the men in a garage with the car running, returned hours later to find them unresponsive, and claimed the garage door was open and windows down when he left.
The men were found dead around 1:30 p.m. after being trapped in the vehicle for up to three and a half hours.
Pulu is held at Salt Lake County Jail.
The incident has sparked concerns about oversight of disability service providers, with advocates urging families to verify provider licensing.
The investigation is ongoing.
