A 46-year-old man in Hyderabad lost ₹36.16 lakh after using unauthorized loan apps 'Loan Radar' and 'Quick Funds' downloaded from the Google Play Store in August 2025.
After initial small loans and timely repayments, he was targeted with threats involving unauthorized large deposits, abusive calls, and morphed explicit images made from his photos.
