Gujarat CM honored NCC cadets for Republic Day Parade participation, awarded prizes, and highlighted NCC’s growth and national service.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel honored NCC cadets who represented the state in the 2026 Republic Day Parade in New Delhi, recognizing their participation in events like the Kartavya Path parade, Guard of Honour, and cultural programs.
Nine cadets received Certificates of Excellence, the Cadet Journal-2026 was released, and NCC Rajkot was awarded the Inter-Group Championship Banner.
The CM praised the NCC for fostering unity, discipline, and service, highlighting cadets’ roles in disaster relief, cleanliness drives, environmental protection, and blood donation.
He noted the national rise in NCC enrolment from 14 lakh to 20 lakh and linked the organization’s values to national pride and Prime Minister Modi’s vision.
The ceremony took place at Lok Bhavan in Gandhinagar, attended by senior officials and cadets.
