The Grey Roots Museum & Archives in Owen Sound, Ontario, opened "Living Histories: Grey County" on February 7, 2026, featuring around 1,000 historical photos collected from community events in Flesherton, Meaford, and Hanover, along with artifacts and modern-day comparisons.
Co-curated by historian Richard Thomas and curator Sim Salata, the exhibit highlights past daily life, landmarks, and figures like steeplejack Bill Berry, known as the "Human Fly."
It includes descriptions, a slideshow of additional images, and plans to add a clock face from the old Owen Sound city hall.
The museum encourages public donations to preserve local heritage.
