A 20-year-old man, Adrien Cox, has been arrested in connection with a January 31 shooting on Chattanooga’s Market Street that left a 51-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident occurred around 9:12 p.m. near Downtown Automotive and Honey Seed, when the victim was shot after another vehicle pulled alongside his car.
Authorities say Cox, who is being held at the Walker County Jail, is charged with aggravated assault.
The Chattanooga Police Department credited the Walker County Sheriff’s Office for the arrest and thanked them for their cooperation.
The suspect is expected to be transferred to the Hamilton County Jail after a court appearance.
