Daniel Bohatch, 40, was arrested in Glenmora, Louisiana, on February 6, 2026, after nearly eight years on the run for multiple sex offenses, including rape and sexual battery, involving children in Ashtabula County, Ohio, between 2010 and 2013. Authorities say he used a false name during a domestic incident in Louisiana, leading to his identification. The U.S. Marshals Service, in partnership with federal, state, and local agencies, located and apprehended him at a residence on Sonny Boy Doyle Road. He was wanted since October 2018.
