Xpeng unveils its 2026 GX EREV SUV with over 1,000km range, 5C charging, and luxury features, set for Beijing debut in April 2026.
The 2026 Xpeng GX EREV, a new flagship electric SUV from Chinese automaker Xpeng, has been unveiled with a design resembling the Range Rover, featuring a 5.2-meter length, dual-layer headlights, panoramic sunroof, and retractable door handles—banned in China from 2027. It is powered by Xpeng’s Kunpeng Super Electric System, promising over 1,000km of range and 5C fast charging, enabling an 80kWh battery to charge to 80% in about 12 minutes. The vehicle includes a split tailgate with a horizontal LED bar, a likely six-seat interior, and an augmented reality head-up display. It is set to debut at the April 2026 Beijing Auto Show, with a projected starting price above ¥400,000 (~$83,250), though no international availability has been confirmed.
