The Timberwolves traded for Ayo Dosunmu, boosting their backcourt for a playoff push.
The Minnesota Timberwolves acquired guard Ayo Dosunmu from the Chicago Bulls in a trade deadline deal, sending Rob Dillingham, Leonard Miller, and four second-round picks to Chicago. Dosunmu, 26, averaged a career-high 15.0 points and shot a career-best 45.1% from three-point range in 45 games for the Bulls, providing offensive depth off the bench. The move strengthens Minnesota’s backcourt as they push for a playoff spot, coming off a five-game winning streak. The Timberwolves also previously traded Mike Conley to Chicago, who was later sent to Charlotte. Meanwhile, the New Orleans Pelicans traded veteran Jose Alvarado to the Knicks for Dalen Terry, two second-round picks, and cash, as they continue to struggle near the bottom of the Western Conference.
