Over 800 international performers from 13 countries will debut the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Brisbane from February 12 to 15, marking its first time outside Scotland.
The four-night event at Suncorp Stadium features over 30 bands and cultural groups, with a 45-meter LED screen projecting Edinburgh Castle.
Led by creative director Alan Lane, the show includes 300 local performers and 33 tonnes of equipment.
Expected to draw 38,000 visitors, the event is projected to generate $39 million for Queensland’s economy.
After Brisbane, performers will travel to New Zealand via four charter flights.
The Tattoo, founded in 1950 as a post-WWII morale booster, traces its name to a Dutch military signal to end drinking.
