Pieter Mulier has been named Versace’s new creative director, effective July 1, 2026, the Prada Group announced.
He succeeds Dario Vitale, who departed after one collection.
Mulier, currently at Alaïa, previously worked with Raf Simons at Calvin Klein, Jil Sander, and Dior.
He will report to Lorenzo Bertelli, executive chairman of Versace and heir to the Prada Group.
The appointment follows Prada’s acquisition of Versace in December 2025.
