Mahindra & Mahindra plans a Rs 15,000 crore ($1.65 billion) investment over 10 years to build its largest integrated auto and tractor plant in Nagpur, Maharashtra, with production starting in 2028.
The 1,500-acre facility, supported by a 150-acre supplier park, will produce over 500,000 vehicles and 100,000 tractors annually, including electric and internal combustion models, using next-generation platforms.
The project aims to boost localisation, reduce logistics costs, and strengthen India’s manufacturing hub status, alongside expanding capacity in Igatpuri–Nashik.
