On February 6, 2026, the Indian Army launched 'Friends for Life,' a digital platform connecting military officers from 99 countries who trained at Indian institutions.
Led by Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi, the initiative aims to strengthen defense ties, enhance interoperability, and sustain relationships with over 21,500 foreign personnel trained in India over the past decade.
