India has extended the bid deadline for its 10th Open Acreage Licensing Policy (OALP-X) oil and gas auction to May 29, 2026—the fourth delay—allowing more time for bidders to assess new regulatory rules from the recently passed Oilfields (Regulation and Development) Amendment Bill.
The round offers 25 blocks across 13 basins, totaling about 191,986 square kilometers, including four high-potential blocks in the Andaman Sea covering 47,058 square kilometers.
