Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has criticized the previous Aam Aadmi Party government's Mohalla Clinics, calling them ineffective and corrupt, citing lack of staff, medicines, and proper infrastructure.
She promoted the current government's Aayushman Aarogya Mandirs—permanent primary care centers offering 100 free diagnostics, vaccinations, and nearly 1,200 medicines—with permanent doctors and nurses.
Gupta said these centers, based on a central government initiative not implemented under AAP, are vital for primary healthcare and part of a plan to build 1,000 such facilities across Delhi.
She dismissed opposition criticism as negative and unfounded.
