Zayn Malik has announced his fifth studio album, KONNAKOL, set for release on April 17, 2026, with the lead single “Die For Me” dropping on February 6. Named after the South Indian vocal percussion tradition, the album reflects his heritage and personal journey of self-discovery. The project follows his 2024 album Room Under the Stairs and 2025 duet with BLACKPINK’s Jisoo. The album artwork features Malik merged with a snow leopard, symbolizing his cultural roots. The release coincides with new music from former One Direction members, including Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles.
