Surveillance footage captured the incident, which occurred around 1:42 a.m., with no damage reported.
The suspect, not affiliated with the University of Michigan, was charged with prowling, appeared in court in January 2026, and faces up to 90 days in jail and a $500 fine if convicted.
The incident is part of a broader pattern of antisemitic activity in the area, including prior assaults on Jewish students, which police are investigating.
