Starting April 1, 2026, Browns Camp OHV Campground in Tillamook State Forest will require reservations, with online bookings opening March 2. The Oregon Department of Forestry says the change aims to guarantee sites, reduce search stress, and improve efficiency. The 28-site campground will still allow same-day reservations, but advance booking is encouraged due to limited cell service. Fees remain $20 per night. The move follows a similar system at equestrian sites in 2025. Additionally, the Diamond Mill OHV Area will become a new campground opening in 2026.
