Singapore deported former actor Ian Fang after he served a 40-month sentence for raping a 15-year-old, whom he stalked and penetrated nine times.
Former Singaporean actor Ian Fang, 36, had his permanent resident status revoked and will be deported after serving a 40-month prison sentence for sexually penetrating a 15-year-old girl nine times between June and July 2024. He pleaded guilty in May 2025 to three counts of sexual penetration, with additional charges of obstructing justice and stalking. The victim, whom Fang met at an entertainment event, was diagnosed with HPV. Fang, who left Mediacorp in 2023 and ran a children’s modelling school, sent repeated messages and stalked her via a virtual app. A gag order was lifted in May 2025. He began serving his sentence in June 2025, expressing remorse, and could be released as early as August 2027. The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority confirmed he will be barred from re-entering Singapore.
