San Jose police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Jan. 25 at South Bascom Avenue and Borello Drive, where a man died after being struck by a dark-colored sedan.
Witnesses say the suspect, a man with a beard aged 30 to 40, briefly approached them before fleeing with what appeared to be a vehicle bumper.
He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with yellow lettering possibly reading "SJSU" or "SDU."
Authorities have not released the victim’s identity and are urging anyone with information to contact Detective DelliCarpini at 408-537-1421 or via email.
