Former England cricketer Moeen Ali, who retired in 2024, has expressed his goal to become a top international coach, ideally with England, as he begins a coaching role with the England Lions' white-ball camp in Abu Dhabi alongside Ben Stokes and Andrew Flintoff. Currently in Dubai, he is preparing for the ECB Level Three coaching qualification, drawing on a family legacy of coaching and his own experience as a former all-rounder. Moeen emphasizes the importance of solid batting and bowling technique, citing technical shortcomings as a factor in England’s recent Ashes loss. He remains open to coaching, punditry, and playing domestically, including for Yorkshire in the Vitality Blast and Karachi Kings in the PSL.
