Marico has agreed to acquire a 60% stake in digital-first wellness brand Cosmix Wellness for ₹226 crore, valuing the company at ₹375 crore, with an option to buy the remaining 40% by 2029.
The deal, announced February 4, 2026, marks Marico’s expansion in the plant-based nutrition sector, as Cosmix, known for vegan protein powders and functional foods, nears ₹100 crore in annual revenue.
The company, which reported ₹50.9 crore in FY25, is EBITDA positive and bootstrapped.
Marico aims to leverage Cosmix’s innovation and digital focus while maintaining its direct-to-consumer model.
The acquisition follows Marico’s recent purchases of D2C brands and supports its goal of reaching ₹20,000 crore in revenue by 2030.
