Abdulrasheed Maina, former chairman of Nigeria’s Pension Reform Task Force, was hospitalized on February 3, 2026, after collapsing on a staircase in Abuja due to an untreated knee injury that caused him to lose balance and strike his head.
His media assistant confirmed he received immediate first aid and was rushed to a private hospital, where he remains under intensive care.
