Emerald Airlines has secured a four-year PSO contract to operate twice-daily flights between Dublin and Donegal starting February 26, 2026, using ATR72-600 aircraft under the Aer Lingus Regional brand.
The service replaces Sweden’s Amapola Flyg and aims to restore vital air connectivity to the region, with convenient flight times and seamless links to Aer Lingus’s network.
The airline, which holds an Irish Air Operator’s Certificate and a franchise agreement with Aer Lingus, plans to launch Belfast City to Great Britain flights once its UK Air Operator’s Certificate is approved, expected by June 2022.
