Delhi police arrested two men linked to pro-Khalistani slogans before Republic Day 2026, allegedly orchestrated from Canada by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
Delhi police have arrested two men, Baljinder, an ambulance driver, and Rohit alias Kirat, in connection with pro-Khalistani slogans posted in Delhi before Republic Day on January 26, 2026.
Authorities say the plot was orchestrated from Canada, with Sikhs for Justice founder Gurpatwant Singh Pannun allegedly offering Rs 2 lakh to carry out the acts.
A close associate of Pannun recruited the suspects, who were linked to a mastermind in Tilak Nagar who maintained direct contact with Pannun.
Police registered an FIR against Pannun under the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita for promoting enmity and endangering national unity.
Though Pannun claimed his "sleeper cells" posted slogans in Rohini and Dabri, no evidence was found at those locations.
The case remains under investigation.
