Canada recalls 3,000 custom blinds over child strangulation risk; no injuries reported.
Health Canada has recalled approximately 3,000 custom-made roller blinds sold between January 2025 and January 2026 due to a strangulation risk from exposed cords, particularly for young children.
The blinds, available in black, white, anodized grey, and transparent, were made by RFML Import Export Ltée and feature a continuous loop chain.
No injuries have been reported.
Consumers are urged to stop using the product and contact the company for a free repair kit.
This follows other recent recalls of window shades and blinds in Canada.
