Australia’s Adelaide University will lead a two-year, $400,000 project with China to advance sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) development, supported by the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations.
The initiative, announced by Foreign Minister Penny Wong, brings together researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers from both nations through conferences in five cities and workshops, aiming to accelerate SAF deployment and support aviation decarbonization.
It includes student exchanges, publications, and plans for a lasting industry network.
The project is part of 22 grants promoting Australia-China cooperation.
