Three teens charged after robbery at Manurewa superette, where a hammer was used and a worker injured.

Three teenagers, two aged 17 and one 16, were charged with aggravated robbery after allegedly stealing from a Manurewa superette on Mahia Road, where one suspect reportedly threatened a worker with a hammer. The group fled in a stolen vehicle, abandoned it, and were later arrested on Ellen Street after police tracked them using public tips and aerial surveillance. The stolen till and other items were recovered, and a store worker was treated for minor injuries. All three are expected to appear in Manukau Youth Court.
