The public can vote for their favorite of 24 exceptional wildlife photographs shortlisted for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year People’s Choice Award 2026, selected from over 60,000 entries worldwide. The images, capturing both stunning animal behavior and environmental threats, include a polar bear family in summer heat, flamingos near power lines, a sloth shielding its young, a crab riding a jellyfish, a pangolin pup in rescue, and a pile of confiscated snares in Uganda. Voting is open online or at London’s Natural History Museum, with results announced on March 25. The winning image and four runners-up will be displayed in a flagship exhibition.
