The National Examinations Council (NECO) released the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External results, showing 71.63% of candidates earned five credits or higher, including English and Mathematics, with strong performance in English (78.32% credit passes) and Mathematics (91.35% credit passes).
Of 96,979 registrants, 95,160 sat for the exams.
Malpractice rose to 9,016 cases, a 31.7% increase from 2024, prompting NECO to blacklist five supervisors and recommend four examination centers for derecognition due to systemic misconduct.
