Malaysian and Indian PMs deny links to Epstein after documents surface.
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have denied any ties to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein after their names surfaced in newly released U.S. Department of Justice documents.
The files, including over 3 million pages and thousands of images, contain emails from 2012 in which Epstein discussed arranging a meeting with Ibrahim, then a Malaysian opposition figure.
Both leaders stated they had no connection to Epstein or his associates.
The documents also mention other global figures, but being named does not imply wrongdoing.
The release highlights Epstein’s extensive network, though no evidence of criminal activity by the listed leaders has been found.
Los primeros ministros de Malasia e India niegan vínculos con Epstein después de la aparición de los documentos.
