A field vole was rescued on January 18 after being found cold and shivering in a puddle, taken to the Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre, treated for a minor back wound, and released back into the wild just five days later on January 23. Staff praised its rapid recovery, calling it an exceptional case, and highlighted the center’s ongoing efforts to rehabilitate and release injured wildlife.
