A 19-year-old Fort Lewis College student, Jackson Keller, was arrested in late January 2026 on charges of criminal solicitation for first-degree murder and unlawful weapon possession on campus after allegedly trying to hire two people to kill another student for money.
The investigation, led by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and campus police, began on January 28 and resulted in Keller’s arrest the next day.
He was booked into jail but later released.
