Troy expands snow removal to new streets, bans parking Feb. 3 to aid cleanup after storm.
The City of Troy has expanded snow removal to additional streets, including parts of Oakwood Avenue, 10th and 9th Streets, River Street, and all of Ingalls, Glen, and Middleburgh Avenues, following a winter storm.
Starting Feb. 3, parking will be banned on odd-numbered sides from 9 a.m. to noon and even-numbered sides from noon to 3 p.m., with vehicles subject to tickets or towing.
Snow removal began Thursday and Friday on previously designated streets, with "No Parking" signs posted.
The move follows assessments by the city’s Quality-of-Life Action Crews, and the new streets are for snow removal only, not emergency routes.
Residents can call 518-270-4579 or check the city website for details.
