Sego Resources found signs of copper mineralization in drill hole DDH25-71, 1,200 meters northeast of a 2025 discovery, suggesting a larger porphyry system may exist.
Sego Resources Inc. has intercepted a porphyry-related phyllic alteration zone in drill hole DDH25-71 at its Cuba Zone, 1,200 meters northeast of the Billy Zone, where a porphyry copper discovery was made in December 2025.
The zone features fine pyrite and quartz stockwork, with patchy potassic alteration from 542.93 to 586.64 meters and a sharp rise in magnetic susceptibility starting at 560 meters, suggesting potential for deeper, structurally controlled copper mineralization.
Core logging is complete, and samples are being sent to Calgary for lab analysis.
The findings support the possibility of a larger porphyry system and will guide future drilling from the northeast.
The technical review was conducted by Goran Markovic, a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.
The company notes risks associated with market conditions and exploration outcomes.
Sego Resources encontró signos de mineralización de cobre en el agujero de perforación DDH25-71, a 1.200 metros al noreste de un descubrimiento de 2025, lo que sugiere que puede existir un sistema de pórfido más grande.
