Recharge Power won Taiwan’s largest solar-plus-storage project, a 48MW/185.7MWh facility starting in 2026.
Recharge Power, a subsidiary of J&V Energy Technology, has won Taiwan’s largest solar-plus-storage EPC project, a 48MW/185.7MWh facility set to begin construction in early 2026. The project, awarded by HEXA Renewables, will integrate solar generation with large-scale battery storage to improve grid stability, enable peak shaving, and increase renewable energy use. It highlights Recharge Power’s experience in utility-scale energy storage, including Taiwan’s first grid-connected solar-storage system, first Automatic Frequency Control project, and Taipower’s first substation-level storage project. With over 370MW/886MWh of installed capacity in Taiwan and growing operations in Japan, the company aims to expand its integrated storage model internationally.
