The World Wetlands Day event at Cooper Marsh in South Glengarry drew over 100 children and youth—double last year’s turnout—for its Kids’ Nature Photography Contest, highlighting growing community engagement.
Co-hosted by the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne and the Raisin Region Conservation Authority with support from federal and provincial governments, the event featured award-winning entries across age groups, hands-on cultural activities, and conservation education.
