Musician Kate Nash says she sells photos on OnlyFans to fund tours after losing tens of thousands due to post-Brexit costs, warning the music industry is broken.
Musician Kate Nash told the UK’s Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee that she sells photos of herself on OnlyFans—describing them as “pictures of my bum”—to fund tours, citing financial losses of £26,000 on a European tour and £13,000 on a UK tour due to post-Brexit costs and rising expenses.
She warned that without systemic change, only wealthy artists will be able to tour, threatening cultural diversity and accessibility.
Nash criticized major companies like Spotify and Live Nation for profiting from artists’ work while musicians struggle, calling the industry’s foundation “broken.” Spotify said it paid $11 billion to rights holders in 2025, its highest annual total, though individual artist earnings depend on their contracts.
